+How much does it cost to have Christmas lights hung in Houston?
It depends on your roofline footage, the number of stories and roof pitch, tile or slate roofing, and how many trees, wreaths and garland you add, so every quote is custom. Send a few photos and details for a free, custom, itemized quote, and see our Houston cost guide for typical industry ranges.
+When should I book my holiday lighting?
September and October. Houston installs run from early November, and the dates closest to Thanksgiving go first, so booking early locks in your preferred week. Takedown follows in January, after New Year’s, on a date we set with you when you book.
+Which areas of Houston do you serve?
We serve 19 communities: River Oaks, Memorial, Tanglewood, West University Place, Bellaire, three of the Memorial Villages (Piney Point Village, Hunters Creek Village and Bunker Hill Village), the Heights, The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Sugar Land, Katy, Cypress, Kingwood, Fulshear, Pearland and League City. +Do you light trees and add wreaths and garland?
Yes. Many Houston displays pair the roofline with a front-yard live oak or magnolia, plus lit garland and wreaths at the entry, all on the same timer as the roofline. +Will the lights damage my roof, tile or gutters?
Not with the right hardware. We use clips designed for gutters, shingles, tile and ridge caps, and we never nail, staple or screw into your home for a seasonal display. Everything comes down cleanly in January.
+Do you work with deed restrictions and HOAs?
Yes. Inside Houston city limits there is no zoning, so deed restrictions and civic or homeowner associations shape how neighborhoods look, and separate cities and master-planned communities add their own rules. Check yours for anything about decorations, display dates or removal dates and send that language with your quote request. We design within it and schedule takedown before any removal deadline. Where an architectural committee approves exterior changes, ask the committee first.
+What is permanent lighting?
A low-profile, app-controlled LED track mounted under your eaves and matched to your trim. It is nearly invisible by day, and at night you choose any color or scene: Christmas, Halloween, game days or everyday warm white. Learn more on our permanent lighting page.
+Do you light businesses, HOAs and events too?
Yes. We install commercial Christmas lighting for retail, restaurants, offices, churches and communities, and we light weddings, galas and holiday parties with event lighting: uplighting and bistro strands.
